Last Post of 2008: Christmas Revisited

We had a very nice Christmas. The girls got lots of stuff. I'm already tripping over all the new toys.

Margo got to play Baby Jesus for the second time this Christmas at Centenary's Children's Christmas Eve service. So again, David and I were Mary and Joseph. We even had a stable this time!

Madeline and Lydia slept until 7:30 Christmas morning. Margo slept until 8:30. I snapped this picture just as they walked into the living room to see what Santa had left.

Margo liked the rubber ducky that was in her stocking.

After checking out what Santa brought, the girls were ready to tear open their presents. And they did in about three minutes, tops!

Margo took a little longer to open hers and needed a little assistance.

She loved all the wrapping paper and bows.

Aren't these little babushkas precious? They wrapped their shirts around their heads and were playing dress-up.

All three girls playing on the swingset at Grammie and PaPa's. We had a nice visit in Jamesville.

A worn out Lydi-bug! This girl is like the Energizer Bunny, and hardly ever falls asleep before bedtime. She fell asleep on the way home from Jamesville and we just had to take a picture. This picture makes me remember the little girl who took 3 hour naps every afternoon!!! Ahhh..I can only hope that Margo will nap like that.

So long, 2008. It's been a GREAT year!
