Margo's Baptism

Yesterday we had Margo baptized. She fell asleep about 3 minutes before the preacher called us up to the front. In the above picture, she is sleeping.

After I handed her over to the preacher, she woke up but still seemed kind of foggy as to what was going on. I was afraid she was going to start screaming when she felt that water on her head and realized that she was not in mama's arms. She didn't seem to mind.

She never made a sound. She just looked around as the preacher showed her off.

The congregation sang a sweet lullaby to her.
We sang it at Madeline and Lydia's Baptisms too.

Our third little girl on her Baptism day....wearing the
Christening gown that her big sisters wore.

The family with our preacher, David Beck. His first Sunday at Centenary was the day that Margo was born!

My sweet baby girl

After taking lots of pictures, our families came back to our house for lunch. Here's the cake I made in honor of Margo's special day.
