Dogless

For the first time in over eleven years, we are dogless. Sadly, on Monday we had to put Kasey down. David was having to pick her up and carry her in and out. She could only scoot around the house and she didn't even want to go outside. Her one back leg that had been the workhorse for all these years had given out. When David and I walked into the vet with her, the same awful feeling came over us that did just 10 months ago when we had to put Abby down. Our dogs were a huge part of our lives and our family. We miss them terribly, but know they are better off now. They had good lives. We loved them and they loved us.

So long, Kasey. May you run on all four legs and reunite with Abby in doggie heaven. Below is a photo tribute to Kasey.

What a beautiful tribute to our precious doggie. Seeing those puppy pictures, especially, was wonderful. She was full of love at all times, wasn't she?

I'm so sorry to hear that you had to put Kasey down. Austin still remembers you as the family with the dog with 3 legs. She was a very special dog and I know that she's running on all 4 in doggie heaven with Abby - take care....
