Beyond Busy

I just had to post this image I found on the internet. It made me laugh and I can totally relate. And I'm sure most moms (and Mr. Moms) can. To say the least, we've been busy....thus the lack of blogging. So it's time to catch up.

The girls on Easter morning, checking out what the Easter Bunny brought.

Singing in church on Easter morning.

Lydia finding eggs after church.

Madeline with her eggs.

Margo is loving this!

All three girls. This was the best out of about ten shots. Seriously.

We stayed home for Spring Break this year. David had the week off. Last Wednesday night he and the girls (Madeline, Lydia and Annie) camped in the pop-up in the backyard. The next morning he got a unique wake-up call......Lydia was throwing up Jiffy Pop from the night before!

After the clean up, he sent Lydia inside to the sofa. Margo joined Madeline in the camper for breakfast.

Here is our sweet Annie. She got a new wireless fence from the Easter Bunny and has been doing really well staying in the yard.....as long as she has her shock collar on! She definitely has opened up over the last several weeks and I think she's pretty comfortable with us now.

Here's what we spent a lot of our time doing over spring break.......

.... painting and updating our dining room. David has been a handy hubby. Look at the wainscoting he installed. He's also installing crown molding. I'm taking care of all the painting, usually during Margo's nap time or at night when they're all in bed. So it's still a work in progress, but coming along nicely.

Lydia started soccer with parks and rec. She played in her first game Tuesday night. Here she is with her friend Faith. Their teams were playing each other. During the game they would run alongside each other talking and catching up.

With Victoria, her friend from school. Soccer has fallen on the girls' dance nights for the last few weeks so last night we skipped dance so the girls could go to spirit night at Mickey-D's for school and so Lydia could play soccer. It's that time of year where it's starting to get really busy with programs, meetings, practices, rehearsals, etc. It's a good thing we had a break last week from all the activities because from now until June it's not going to slow down!
