Happy 4th Birthday, Margo!

Today is Margo's 4th Birthday!

She had a great day.  She started the day off by popping balloons....four balloons, each filled with $1 bills.

A birthday doughnut for breakfast!

She wanted to go to the pool today.  It was HOT (over 100 degrees) and the pool was a great place to be :)  Margo practiced jumping in the water and even learned how to do a cannonball.  Here she is doing one while Madeline is ready to catch her.
She even decided today was the day to go down the slide.  She loved it!  Here's a little video clip of that.

Our four year-old all dressed up for her birthday dinner at Cici's Pizza!
Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt Leslie, Uncle Greg, Brayden and Connor joined us.

Blowing out the candles on her Hello Kitty cake.

Opening her presents with her big sisters and cousin Brayden.

The Hello Kitty cake I made for her.

My baby girl.  She's such a mess!
She is very excited about her Birthday Party tomorrow at the splash park!

Last weekend the girls spent the weekend in Jamesville and when we went to pick them up on Monday, Grammie had a little birthday party for Margo.

The girls with Grammie & PaPa.  Margo was  holding up four fingers in most of the pictures.

Her own little strawberry cake!  Margo is definitely worth celebrating!

And last but not least.....
Four years ago when she made her debut: June 29, 2008.
We love you Margo!!!

Swimming & Celebrations

Summer is here and we've been spending quite a bit of time at the pool.

Suddenly Miss Margo is not as dependent on her puddle jumper floatie.  Swim lessons have helped tremendously.  Just three weeks ago, she would barely get her face wet.  Just over the past couple of days, she has turned into a fish!

Too cool for the pool!  Madeline was not wanting her picture taken.

Here's Margo swimming underwater!

And another shot....

Taking a break from swimming for some play time on the steps.
Enjoy the video below of Margo swimming.  I'm so proud of her.  I never thought she would come so far in her first set of swim lessons!

She's pretty proud of herself too!

Sassy girl

My loves on Father's Day ::  David & the girls :)

Yesterday was David's 38th birthday.

The girls made cards for him and helped him open his gifts.  We got him a fire pit.  Hopefully we can put it to use one of these summer nights and roast some marshmallows.

Margo made a card for him with lovely illustrations.

Blowing out the candles on his oreo cake.

I loved the card that Lydia made for him.  It said:
Yo Yo Daddeo.
It's your Birthdayo.
You can try to rapeo.
Happy Birthday Daddeo.

School's Out!

Today is the last day of school!  These two are a little bit excited :)

Here they are on the first day of school.

Lydia wanted to wear the same dress that she wore on the first day of school.  Notice how much shorter it is on her!  She had to wear leggings under it today.  She's getting taller!  She has almost caught up to Madeline.  Of course, Margo and Annie had to get in the picture.

Lydia chose this outfit yesterday for school because they were having a dance.  Such a little fashionista....

Last week Madeline was inducted in the National Elementary Honor Society!  She has done very well in school.  Straight A's all year and scored a 99% on her Math EOG test!

Margo and Bitty Baby enjoying some refreshments after the induction ceremony.
Madeline loves her some Margo :)

Lydia got a superior rating at the piano guild a few weeks ago.  She was so proud of her trophy!  She's got quite the trophy collection now.   She loves piano and is always picking out a tune.  She definitely has an ear for music and is often found at our piano putting her own spin on Fur Elise.  Lydia also had a great 2nd grade year.  She got all S's and S+ 's this year.

Margo has been out of preschool for a few weeks now, but has started Summer Camp at MMO a couple days a week.  She loves it!  Here she is wearing a pirate hat she made this week.

She also started swim lessons this week!

With her teacher, Mrs. Debbie.  Mrs. Debbie taught M&L how to swim.  Hoping she can work her magic with Margo.
This picture was taken on Memorial Day.  We spent the day at Jordan Lake.  We tried to sail, but there was no wind.  Even though David was very disappointed (especially after rigging the boat), we did manage to enjoy swimming and just spending some family time together.
Just had to post this picture of Bitty Baby.  We were riding around with the windows down yesterday because it was such a gorgeous day! We had to take Annie to the vet.   When I stopped the van and got ready to get out, this is what I saw.  Margo said she was letting her baby look out the window like Annie!
